Taeisha is a solicitor at the firm who was admitted in March 2024.
She first joined Walker Hedges Forestville in 2020 whilst undertaking her Law Degree as a legal assistant where she quickly began to get involved in a multitude of practice areas. Taeisha left us to spend some time working and gaining experience in other firms in Sydney CBD, before returning at our request to rejoin us in late 2025.
During her professional career, she has developed a range of experience and expertise in the following areas of law:
- Commercial and general litigation
- Commercial law advice
- Dispute resolution
- Building and construction law, disputes and litigation
- Adjudication applications under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 (NSW)
- Conveyancing (including option deeds and off the plan transactions for both purchasers and vendors)
- Commercial leasing
- Debt recovery, including bankruptcy matters, and statutory demands acting for both creditors and debtors
Her work has led her to exposure in the Local Court, District Court, and Supreme Court in NSW, and the Supreme Court in VIC where she has both personally appeared and instructed counsel on matters. In addition, she has experience acting in matters in tribunals, such as NCAT.
Taeisha prides herself in her ability to take a practical approach to her work when trying to achieve the best outcome for her client and navigating the nuances of complicated matters to get to the heart of the issues.
